we still have not been able to submit an M21 to Roon for final approval, in the meantime we are able to supply users with a beta version that works perfectly well, many users here have this version now and we do not get any reports of issues with it. in order to do this with Roon we have to "give" them and not get back an M21, so we have not been able to free one up for them and over the past year and more we have had limited production due to component issues and still face this now. It is our intention to complete this and as soon as we can have a unit to give away we can send one to them. but in the end it will not change how it works and performs now, it will just have their approval.

Hello. I'm the original poster on this thread. I wanted to ask if any progress has been made on Roon Ready certification for the M21. I'm still enjoying my M1SE, but lately I'm thinking again about what comes next. The combination of streaming endpoint functionality, delta-sigma conversion, R2R ladder conversion, and 1-bit DSD conversion offered by the M21 in a single chassis remains appealing to me. Thank you.

it is possible that the user can do it, we would send the upgrade for the processor and the network interface to make it complete. But the early version of M3 will now be seen in Roon and work, so there is really no need to update it if its working for you now. If you can provide a serial # then we can tell more about when your M3 was made and what version its running.

So, from this discussion about the certification of the M3, will owners of the "earlier" M3s be required to return their units to the factory for parts installation, etc., in order to become "Roon ready"? If so, when do you think this service will be available and at what price? Thanks!

Not yet, please send an email to info@bricasti.com and we can get you a version that will work for you.

Are there any new updates on Roon certification for the M21?
Where can I download the streamer version you mention that works with Roon?

Thanks

we have yet to submit the M21 to roon, we just completed the M3 and that was a lot of work and took a lot longer than we expected, roon made a lot of changes since we last did the M12 and M1 and caused unexpected work. However we do plan to schedule time with them for the M21, but it also requires that we "give" them an M21 that they dont give back so that needs to be scheduled as well. Meanwhile some of our M21 users are on a beta program and are using the M21 with a streamer version that will function with roon.

Hi,

Are there any new updates on Roon certification for the M21? Is it currently in progress?

Thanks

the difference is because airman's m3 is not updated to the full roon release, which requires a new streamer upgrade and upgrade to the M3 processor. in this release and certification they "required" us to report to the roon app about our filters, if not updated the M3 works fine but that information is not reported to the app so it does not appear in roon. none of this changes how the M3 or any of our products work, just how its displayed in roon.

Hi madfloyd,

My Signal Path is still Lossless. Bricasti plays native, no upsampling. Could you show us your Roon DSP picture, like this:
