I have long used Roon but decided to give Audirvana Studio a try to see if there was a difference in sound quality.
My knowledge of computer audio is kindergarten level so I do have 2 questions:
1) does it matter to the M3 which driver is used for the Audirvana? WASAPI, ASIO, or Kernel Streaming?
2) if I try using the Audirvana to upsample and convert all PCM to DSD, will the M3 still be able to use the preferred NDSD DSM mode or would I have to use the NDSD PCM mode?
